Our Academy

The foundation of Shivalik Judicial Academy has been laid on a seamless strategic approach in order to cater its aspirants to achieve success in Judicial exams. Mr. R. L. Chohan (retired Chief Judicial Magistrate); a renowned name in the related industry has been training the candidates for Civil Judges-cum-Judicial Magistrates and Additional Session Judges posts. The main motive behind establishing this organization is not only to educate the candidates but also to develop an excellence in them so that they may effectively use their capabilities in serving the nation!

Our academy serves 5 days in a week (on Saturday and Sunday it will be closed). It takes approximately 10-11 months to complete the whole syllabus for PCS (Judicial)/ HCS(Judicial) entrance exams. Interesting applicant who are willing to apply for the posts of PCS/HCS (Judicial) can join our academy and he/she will be taught all the PCS/HCS (Judicial) subjects within a specific period.

We expect that every student of our academy should remain punctual, disciplined, obedient and hardworking. They are also expected to go through and to follow the below noted principles of this academy :

  • Please come for class at least 10 minutes earlier to the time fixed for the class.
  • Do not hesitate in asking your mentor, if any query arisen in your mind.
  • Listen to the lecture very attentively and with full concentration as we are going to make you capable for the post of a Judge.
  • Please switch off your cellphones before entering into the class till the class is over.
  • Please attend all the lectures as each and every lecture is interconnected and connected to all the topics in syllabus.
  • You must have the book/Act/Code which is to be taught in the class.
  • Bring your notepad for noting down relevant material.
  • Feel that you are not now college student, rather you are going to become very responsible, wise, capable, efficient and effective candidate for competing for the post of a Judge.
  • Everyday, We will conduct a test based on lectures already delivered in the class.
  • We request all students not to deposit their fees unless they attend all lectures for first three consecutive working days in order to see whether this academy is having that calibre/quality/worth which they expect,because fee once paid will not be refunded.
